Kuala Lumpur, 6th July 2025: The Konsortium Pusat Sumber Sekolah Kebangsaan (KPSSK) is delighted to announce the successful migration of the SMK Bukit Bandaraya Resource Centre to Evergreen ILS, as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance library services.
The SMK Bukit Bandaraya Resource Centre serves as a public school in the Bangsar area of Kuala Lumpur, catering to a diverse community of learners. With 1,311 patrons and a vast collection comprising 8,285 bibliographic records, it plays a crucial role in supporting the educational endeavors of its students and school.
KPSSK provided comprehensive support throughout the migration process, including project management, configuration, data services such as extraction, deduplication of bibliographic records, and data conversion. Additionally, we offered ongoing support, hosting services, and conducted on-site training sessions to ensure a seamless transition for the SMK Bukit Bandaraya Resource Centre.
We are thrilled to welcome the SMK Bukit Bandaraya Resource Centre to the KPSSK community. Through our collaborative efforts, we aim to facilitate efficient resource sharing, enhance accessibility, and provide a wide array of services to meet the evolving needs of our member institutions. KPSSK is an organization that provides library services and support to School Resource Centre (SRC) communities in Malaysia to utilize ICT in SRC. The consortium works directly with community librarians to train staff and implement library automation software, overseeing the library collection, loans, reports, and catalog records.
The main objective of KPSSK are to provide zero-cost effective Integrated Library System (ILS) to SRC , provide all the necessary services for a fully functional SRC in the 21st century, and access to the pool of resources for KPSSK consortium members.
