Konsortium Pusat Sumber Sekolah Kebangsaan (KPSSK)

Konsortium Pusat Sumber Sekolah Kebangsaan (KPSSK) is a national consortium established to support School Resource Centre (SRC) communities across Malaysia in strengthening their library services through the effective use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

As a community-driven organization, KPSSK works closely with teacher-librarians (GPM), ICT coordinators, and school administrators to deliver modern, scalable, and zero-cost library solutions.

We provide end-to-end support for SRC operations — from implementing Integrated Library Systems (ILS), to cataloging, circulation, digital resources, reporting, and staff capacity building. Our initiative empowers schools to operate fully functional 21st-century resource centres regardless of budget limitations.

Our Story

Founded in 2022, KPSSK began as a grassroots initiative to help schools transition from manual library operations to modern digital systems. Many SRCs lacked the budget, technology, or expertise to implement automation, leading to inconsistent access to library services.

To address this, KPSSK introduced a sustainable, community-centered model based on open-source systems, shared hosting, and professional support — making digital library services accessible to every school, regardless of financial background.

In November 2025, KPSSK was formally registered under the Registrar of Societies (ROS), marking a significant milestone in expanding our mission nationwide.

Our Commitment

KPSSK continues to champion a future where every School Resource Centre in Malaysia is:

  1. Digitally empowered
  2. Professionally supported
  3. Equipped with modern library solutions
  4. Connected to a wider national network of SRC practitioners
  5. Able to support teaching, learning, and student development through accessible information services
